Route 16 series at White Birch Bookstore

The White Birch Bookstore owner Laura Lucy has begun displaying fine art paintings intermingled with of her Literature books to spread the art scene in the area. Laura has a great selection of Independent books for free thinkers. The book store seems to be taking an interesting turn towards a wonderful quirky art scene. Laura has a constant flow of famous writers gracing her doors along with Fine Art in her bookshelves. The display of Rebecca’s paintings intermingled with her books are a great way to connect to more of the local talent in the White Mountain area.
Laura Lucy, a long-time employee bought the store in 2005, and currently runs it with the help of a small but dedicated staff including Barbara Drake, Karen Kovach, Karyl Chase and Jane Duggan. Although ownership may have changed, the goal of the store has remained constant: to promote and support a community of readers for locals and visitors alike. www.whitebirchbooks.com
Rebecca Klementovich’s primary subjects of all of the paintings in this series are the beauty of the views on Route 16. This series which began in the end of spring 2010 and continued through the following spring, uses a somber palette mixed in with some bright colored highlights. The series is known for its thematic use of differences in perception of light across various times of day, seasons, and types of weather.
-The Ossipee Lake section of paintings has a fascinating history of New Hampshire. Originally known as Wigwam Village, and then New Garden, the town was named for the Ossipee Indians, one of the twelve Algonquian tribes. The Ossipee was once the site of an Indian stockade. The fort near the lake was designed to protect the tribe from the Mohawks in the west. In 1725, the Indian stockade was destroyed, and then rebuilt by Captain John Lovewell. Ossipee Lake’s water leaves the eastern end and goes into the Saco River. These small paintings are a subtle palette of an island on the lake.

Klementovich Retrospective Painting show

Mt. Washington Valley Arts Association’s will show its first retrospective exhibition of Rebecca Klementovich, the painteress. With over 350 paintings, this show will have a hand full of her work showing the transition of her realism to abstract. The show will give examples of abstracting the landscape. This opens Sept 2011.

What are lesser known about Klementovich’s work are the hundreds of fashion illustrations, textile design, and graphics that influenced her painting. In New York City she worked with designers from Diesel and Joan Vass. This work can be seen at http://klementovichfashion.blogspot.com/

Here work has been in galleries and private collections along with a list of patrons. However, what she feels is most important is the reaction she sees from people viewing her work. Many times people have some unresolved emotions that get activated from the abstracted shapes and emotionally charged titles. The most impressive reaction to her work was a woman who saw a tumor drawn in the painting. She went to the doctors to find out she had a small cancer tumor that was found in its early stages. Art has a language all its own.

Robert Redford and his orange nipple triptych

I have decided to do something silly and colorful. I started a new series of paintings which are along the lines of De Kooning's Woman's series except they are male derived. Where this is taking me I do not know.
Anyone who has a secret crush on Redford this one is for you!

quantum painters unite

I am looking for any painters who want to join a movement
I discovered called Quantum painting.

It works in your imagination and intuition. Quantum painting connects to the higher planes of your being. It is everywhere at all times. One painting in all places at one time forever. Reverberating through time. The painted veil of past, present, and future. Please become a follower or/and email rklementovich@yahoo.com if interested.

magical fingers of god

Painting reminds me of the phrase-
Parachutes are like minds they only
work when open. My paintings I dont
always understand or the download isnt
at my grasp right away, like this series.

What is all about?
It is the question that is important.

Stock or Art for your Investments

This is the time of transition of wealth. With the correction of the market on Wall street, the trend of corruption and greed is beginning to be purged out of the system. During these corrections the investors might want to consider a more practical way to invest as in buying art work. Art is based off of truth and creativity and these attributes are endless forms of prosperity.

The use of the competitive wealth is beginning to fade and prosperity through the creative mind is moving through the monetary system. No one can ever be wholly free from the fear who recognizes any limitation in the supply, for if there is not enough to go around, we know that our turn to do so without may come at any time. The lapses and failures of such people are traceable directly to the idea of a limited supply, to the idea that success and the attainment of wealth are possible only to a part of us. The truth is that as each person's success empowers the whole. Creative wealth works off of the success of the whole not from a fear base.

Another aspect of buying artwork is to have the vibration of the artist. This vibration of the artist is instilled into the painting. The investor also buys the aesthetic pleasure the painting offers.

For example there was a collector who went to Matisse's studio. He commissioned a painting. Matisse laid the canvas on ground and painted the outline of a lady.

The collector said,"I paid money for twenty minutes of painting!"

"No, Matisse said, You paid for forty years of my life as a painter to get to this point!"

The collector buys a painting to which he buys a moment of the painter's life/existence/vibration.

Mars needs women

I have painted the series of Landscape of Mars so that the public can enjoy the sunsets and sunrises of Mars. Here is a series of paintings in case you are not able to view mars yourself. Some pointers on traveling to mars are below.

Remote viewing or astral projection, by escaping the body is a way of remembering that the body is not solid. It is simply perceived as a solid mass. The human body cannot limit your “traveling” merely because you believe in mass so firmly. You are not really “lifted out” of the body to travel; the body does not contain you. You go where you will because of the sense of self. The instant you release from the physical restrictions, you experience much of what happens in the ethereal instant. Time and space are gone. The sudden experience of peace enables you to fly within your own solar systems. The lack of awareness of your body allows this flight. Once you start questioning it whether or not this flight is possible is when you will land via fear. Your own feeling of safeness is where you landing gear resides. Join the higher realms of science and space travel. The answer is a gentle flight.

What surrounds Trees

What surrounds trees goes beyond the usual idea of landscapes and nature. It is more studies of the energy and vibrations of forests, the elements.

Maybe once we were trees and humans surrounded us. The series will expand ideas of nature through contemporary painting and photography. Natural oriented elements will show hard and soft landscapes or landscapes you never thought of.

Merging of Horizons

When objects and the viewers third eye is activated there is a sight that is not of this dimension. As if the dance between the air molecules and the object molecules intermingle with each other. That vision is what I see in landscapes. It is as if the outline of the object is moving or sometimes disappearing. Here are some paintings in this idea. All paintings are Oils.
